Charter Overview
Embark on an exhilarating day charter targeting mahi mahi, Malta’s favorite fish to catch and enjoy. Using trolling techniques, chase these vibrant, fast-fighting fish with top-quality lures, complemented by fresh bait for maximum attraction. This traditional and seasonal catch is a highlight for local anglers and visitors alike. Bottled water is provided free of charge to keep you refreshed as you enjoy a full day of action-packed offshore fishing in the stunning open-sea waters of Malta.

Mahi Mahi license included:
- Allows 10kgs per person to be kept
- Maximum catch is 30 kg per boat each day. Any additional Mahi Mahi must be released back into the sea.
- We encourage catch and release; however, you may keep only what you plan to eat, with the rest released responsibly
While we provide a fully equipped and exciting fishing adventure, there are a few things that are not included in our Island Fishing Malta trips:
- Hotel Transfers – Guests must arrange their own transportation to and from the meeting point. (Transfers may be available upon request for an additional fee.)
- Meals & Alcoholic Beverages – While we provide refreshments, full meals and alcoholic drinks are not included. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks!
- Personal Insurance – We recommend travel or activity insurance, but it is not included in the booking.
- Additional Personal Items – Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and extra layers of clothing are not provided—please bring your own.

Before setting out on your fishing adventure, here are a few key details to keep in mind:
- Weather Conditions – All trips are subject to suitable weather conditions. If the sea is unsafe, we may reschedule or offer a full refund.
- Minimum & Maximum Participants – Some trips require a minimum number of participants to operate, while others may have limited spots available.
- Age & Fitness Requirements – Our fishing trips are suitable for most ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should be comfortable on a boat. 🔹 Seasickness Prevention – If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend taking medication in advance.
- Arrival Time – Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure to ensure an on-time departure.
- What to Bring – Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, non-slip shoes, and a camera to capture your experience.
- Alcohol Policy – Moderate alcohol consumption is allowed, but excessive drinking is not permitted for safety reasons.
- Catch Policy – You are welcome to keep your catch (within legal limits) or opt for catch-and-release fishing.
- Refund & Cancellation Policy – Free cancellations are available up to 48 hours before departure. Late cancellations or no-shows may not be refunded.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable fishing experience, we recommend bringing the following items:
- Comfortable Clothing – Dress appropriately for the weather. Lightweight clothing for warm days and a light jacket for cooler evenings.
- Non-Slip Footwear – Wear comfortable shoes with good grip (avoid flip-flops).
- Sunscreen & Sunglasses – Protect yourself from the sun, especially during daytime trips.
- Hat or Cap – Helps shield your face from the sun.
- Camera or Phone – Capture the excitement of your fishing adventure!
- Snacks & Extra Drinks – While we provide some refreshments, you may want to bring additional snacks or drinks.
- Motion Sickness Medication (if needed) – If you’re prone to seasickness, take precautions in advance.
- Small Cooler (optional) – If you plan to take your catch home, a cooler can help keep it fresh.
- Personal Items – Any medication, extra layers for night trips, or anything else you may need.
